Michael began playing the violin at the age of 4. He is classically trained and his music defies genres, blurring the lines between rock, folk, jazz, blues, Celtic, bluegrass, classical, Latin, and World. His solo performances — often with a looper and a series of pedals — have been called an “auditory experience.”
